Our Story..

January 26th, 2007

I walked into Caitlyn’s 17th birthday party with Rachel and the first person I noticed in the building was him. He was wearing his black button down shirt with a bright blue (almost turquoise) tie on! He was playing the drums in the band on stage. Oh, i fell in love with him the moment I saw him. By the way, if you didn’t know turquoise is my favorite color so he definitely stood out! I didn’t get to talk to him until the end of the night and even then we didn’t really talk, just took funny charlie’s angels pictures ha. 

February 2nd, 2007

After that he got in touch with Rachel (he couldn’t find my myspace page) and asked us to hang out with him and some friends. So of course we were not going to turn that down! haha We went to his house and all played spoons. I’m usually good at spoons, but I happened to be the first one to get out that game and he laughed at me. We had to leave early, but he told me that I could stay and he would take me back. Unfortunately I had to go because I drove Rachel. That night I spent the night with Rachel and we stayed up all night talking about our night, and i mean all night haha! That night happened to be the night I actually had fun. I say that because you have to know I wasn’t in good shape then. I was cheated on and then a very close family friend past away by a heart attack. So life was not going in my direction at the time. And seeing your dad cry is the worst thing you can experience!

He put a happiness within me that I haven’t felt in a long time.

Before you knew it, he asked for my number and what began as a simple phone call ended up being an all nighter! He talked me through the hard times I was going through and we became pretty good friends. As this was going on Valentines Day was coming up and I didn’t think he would ask me to be his valentines because it was too soon. But sure enough he did! :) 

February 14, 2007

We were supposed to be going to a Valentines party with Andrew and Jeremy. Well they show up at my house and I happened to just get out of the shower! IT WAS AWFUL! ( I had a soccer game right before that) Zack had to sit on my couch and wait on me, i felt so bad because he didn’t know my family and he just sat out there waiting on me! ah So finally we get to the party  and we play poker (i had no clue what i was doing so zack had to team up with me and we ended up winning and i got a pair of valentines boxers that i still have today.) Well Zack decides to show off this night. They had brownies there and of course he got one, but he was too lazy to spit his gum out. So he says to me while laying on the floor on his back “ Im going to spit the gum up in the air and eat the brownie then catch the gum again.” I was like ha yeah you go for it, but i doubted he could do it. He messed up the first time, but i was so impressed with him when he actually did it on the second time. I was shocked haha. That night Jeremy was our sho-fur and he drove us around in the Land Rover. Zack and I got along so well and he figured out that I’m extremely ticklish! We were at the Quciktrip gas station and realized I had 10-15 minutes before i had to be home and there was no way that we were going to make it! Zack was so worried he was going make a bad impression on my parents haha, so he told jeremy to drive fast! I can’t tell you how we made it, but we made exactly by 12! 

These 3 memorable nights started the beginning of a never-ending friendship. 

February 23, 2007

He came to my house that night (February 22) which was a friday and we watched Talledaga Nights. I was freezing so i got a blanket and when I got back he decided to start tickling my thigh and I tried to move his hand off of my leg because I am so incredibly ticklish and he grabbed my hand and didn’t let go for the rest of the night!! :) This was the first night we held hands, it was so cute! When the movie was over we talked for hours and before we knew it the time had past like crazy! I walked him out to Adams truck and we talked again for a long time. In the cutest way he asked me to be his girlfriend! I was so excited, but it was 3:30 am by this time. So now we have been together ever since February 23, 2007! 

I love him with all of my heart!
